Finally the last bits and pieces are welded. Due to other – more interesting – priorities this was put aside but now everything is done.
The battery compartment in the boot and a smal spot near the windscreen needed to be fixed.
From this moment on we can declare the “car” RUST-FREE. looking back we have to admit that the chassis was very “rusty” at the traditional (known) E30 M3 places. Fortunatly we did not find any traces of a crash…
Next thing to do is put everything back on its wheels. This should not take long because most parts are already on our shelves. We are going to use a dummy engine block so we can mount the drive line.
We need to switch to a higher gear because 2013 is the ultimate deadline. The clock runs very fast because we can only work during the weekends. We need to expand our team since we bought a new project…. To be continued.
